Chinese President Wants to Support Blockchain Technology

President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping has promised additional funds for the development of blockchain technology in China. He called technology “an important breakthrough” for innovation.

According to the Xinhua news agency, the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of China have run another study on the current state and future trends in the development of blockchain technology.

The politician praised and emphasized the importance of blockchain technology. He called it a “breakthrough” and said that its integration is necessary for the development of his country. He believes that the block network will play an important role in innovation and industrial transformation. He stated:

“We need to treat blockchain as an important breakthrough for key technology innovations, explain major trends, increase investment, focus on a number of key technologies, and accelerate blockchain development and industrial innovation.”
