Telegram will not return 110% of funds to ICO investors from the USA
The TON blockchain project team explained that the refund offer is not valid for US participants in the initial offering of Gram tokens. They have only one option left: to get back 72% of their investments.
Telegram explained that the proposal of the project team to return 110% of the funds to investors who agree to leave them in the TON blockchain project for another year does not apply to residents from the United States. They have only one opportunity: to return 72% of their investments, without waiting for the further development of the situation around the platform, CoinDesk writes.
The company emphasized that for non-US investors the offer remains valid. A new deadline for them is set for April 30, 2021. However, this part of the agreement has changed: now Telegram no longer allows the payment of funds in tokens of its blockchain or in any other cryptocurrency.
